“What kind of ghost is it that can lock doors?”…

Paul Dale Roberts sent me an email, he was in a meeting and really needed me to take a call. I was available so I called John and told him I was from the “HPI Paranormal Hotline” and I asked how could I help him. “What kind of ghost is it that can lock doors?” I repeated to him what he’d said making sure I heard right. He woke up one night and his bedroom door had been locked from the inside. I asked him, does he sleep with anyone at night that can vouch that he doesn’t sleep walk?

John believes he doesn’t sleep walk. He doesn’t think he locked the door himself and he says he hears ticking noises; sleeps with the light on because something wakes him up at 4 am in the morning and has woken up with scratches on his arms – three to be exact. Some believe this a sign of a demonic presence. Last, but not least he feels that he is psychic. He claims to be able to change the outcome of events, namely games. According to him he has made the Green Bay Packers win. He also says that he has to be psychic because he is a Virgo and the youngest child. I myself am not familiar with any folklore about Virgos and the youngest children being psychic. According to John, his parents saw how much being psychic drained him and took him to see a doctor. They called him a paranoid schizophrenic and he is now on medication.

The onset of symptoms typically occurs in young adulthood. [2] Diagnosis is based on observed behavior and the patient’s reported experiences.

Many people in the paranormal field feel Schizophrenia is a misdiagnosis for many psychics and mediums. After reading this I agree it sounds like every psychic I know. To any outsider looking at what a psychic medium experiences or tries to communicate from beyond is going to look odd, strange and maybe a bit insane or paranoid. Some might think it is bizarre or a delusion. We can believe in ghost, but some how it’s not OK to see them or hear them. I’ve seen so called “crazy” people walking the streets screaming at seemingly nothing. At times I have seen that there was in fact something there. Maybe those spirits are what drove the person crazy or they aren’t crazy at all. Unfortunately there was no way for me to tell if it was a condition or really paranormal in Johns case.

The medication he takes makes it harder to read him psychically. For him it suppresses the noise, the feelings, the activity, and it also suppressed his sexual functions, therefore he asked his doctor to lower the dosage so that he can remain sexually functional. The only problem is the paranormal began to stir within his home once more with a lower dosage. He told me he  doesn’t know if it is his condition or paranormal. He was hoping to get that answer from me.

When I asked him what he thought; was it his condition or ghost? He leaned towards the paranormal only after he’d woke up with his door locked. The door could just be broke. HPI would check it out, but he lives in Wisconsin.

He wants to developed his psychic abilities more, but it drains him. I advised against developing his psychic abilities if it was taking a toll on his health. The medicine suppressing all of his functions weren’t going to work for him in the psychic department, but against him which would only drain him more. I am not a doctor. I can’t advise him to stop taking medication just to be more psychic. The best advice I had was to deal with the problem at hand for now. I suggested he do a house blessing. Something Paul told me about sometime ago. John was excited when I told him what to do. Thrilled even. It was the first emotion I’d heard in the whole conversation. He said he would try it and will  let me know how it went. Then he excitedly hung up.

He was concerned in the beginning of our conversation that I just wanted to debunk everything. I assured him that wasn’t my job. My job was to find out how to help him and to get the facts that may lead us to the truth. “If your home isn’t haunted, then why would I scare you, by telling you it is. I just don’t want to assume anything.” He seemed to understand that. But it wasn’t until I gave him a solution, a solution to combat the paranormal that he really was happy. I felt he was joyful because someone actually cared enough not to assume he was crazy or assume it’s just his mental condition based on the fact he was labeled Schizophrenic. I know that he could in reality be having these experiences and if that is the case I don’t want him wishing someone would believe him. The help I’ve offered is harmless and has stopped paranormal activity in the past. I’m looking forward to his update in the near future.

X-Files: Curse

Sometimes HPI get cases that just seem like the X-files. This is a case for the books. Though I am a clairvoyant, psychic paranormal investigator, I still like my science. I’ve always said if I wasn’t a psychic I’d be a scientist. That’s what I wanted to be when I grew up – unfortunately not every case is rooted in science. How can you scientifically prove someone is haunted?

An email came through to Paul Dale Roberts of HPIParanormal.net and he passed that email to me. Anonymous:
“Hello, I have been looking for some help. I have been empathic my entire life and have crossed paths with the spiritual realm a couple times. Not to long back a number of unexplainable events occurred and my brother and I knew they were spiritually influenced. I make jewelry and other artsy things for pure enjoyment. Well, about a month ago my boyfriend had been almost drawn to a pendant I had been given and decided he had to have it. I had held on to this pendant as well as the 3-4 interchangeable pieces that came with it because even though I hadn’t seen these symbols before on a physical level; when I saw them I had a sort of a familiar feel, like perhaps I had seen them in another life. I wanted to find out what the symbols meant. Since my boyfriend attained this pendant things have gone from bad to almost deadly. He finally looked up the pendant and found out it’s demonic. He said it’s name means or is “Follow Me” I want to do things correctly so this situation is handled and isn’t intensified. Please help…”

I immediately requested pictures and information pertaining to the pendant to get a since of history, lore, legend, and if this really is the cause of some bad juju. My aim was to find out why she felt these were demonic? Where did she get her information? Who gave her these pendants? What does “almost deadly” mean? I have to be honest I didn’t get the feeling I was getting the truth, she was either lying or she didn’t write the truth in the original email or maybe she has a mental issue. I could make a psychic judgment on this one, but I don’t feel that it would be fair, not having talked to the client directly. So it was important to get more information and start researching. The whole point of this is not to judge, but to help. The client would never respond to all of my questions. Namely the almost deadly question and where did she get her information about this being demonic. Her response was even more intriguing then her original email though:

“Dear Belinda,
Thank you for getting back to me right away. I feel the need to be completely honest and let you know, I wasn’t expecting to hear back from anyone for a week or two. Things have been fluctuating on severity levels. So to catch you up a bit on the basics of the situation: I am staying with my parents again, who have lived in the same house for over 20 years. Our home is not only on Indian land, but a child was brutally murdered in it, some years before my folks took it over. When I was younger, there had been many occasions that our paranormal occupants caused our family strain. Things we’re very extreme, but what pushed my folks to seek help was when I was suffocated in my sleep. Thankfully I shared a room with my sister and the only physical damage was finger mark bruises. We had 2 priests come & bless the house. Unexpectedly things got a bit worse. We then asked the spiritual counselor of some dear Indian friends of ours to help. He cleansed the house as well as informed my parents that I was a main focuses of our household. The haunting instantly seemed to stop. I have always been able to “feel” my surroundings & my companies physical & emotional feelings. I sense presence. From people standing near me to the aura someone leaves behind on an object after they’ve touched it. Sometimes I can feel people’s lingering presence not even knowing they had just been in that room or space. For sometime now, I have noticed many different entities. A couple of them have been wondering harmless spirits but most of them are darker in nature. I love creating things, mostly jewelry and people bring or give me items all the time. I obtained these pendants months ago. My boyfriend says (in exact words) ‘its like it came to me.’ I immediately, got the feeling (& said so) that they we’re sent to him or to our household. I don’t know how to really explain it but I feel like we’re being distracted so we don’t see what’s truly going on. Sorry, for going on & on. My matter at hand is how do I safely disposed of these, I don’t want to do something that will entice or end up in the hands of a new poor soul.”

If this story is true there is a lot to it. I suppose I really didn’t have the truth in the beginning. Activity seem to have started with her years prior. Which I feel has a lot to do with what she going through now. Choked as a child, haunted land, I am getting a sense of what she might feel is almost deadly. She hasn’t responded to my other emails, but if she read this, she see what my assessment is. The pendant itself looks as though it was drawn by a child. It looks harmless, but when you think of the simple drawing of a heart and the feelings it can illicit in some people. It tells you symbols can have a lot of power. Just as the pyramid on our dollar, the all seeing eye and the $ symbol itself.

The background information could be important in finding out if this is a case of the “Demonic Pendant” or if this is a case of a “Haunted Woman on Haunted Land.” If it is the pendant and the spirits stems from Native American culture then you would do a Native American ceremonial ritual to rid it of negativity. If not holy water and a blessing, destroy by fire and melting the symbol, engrave a counter active symbol onto the pendant itself or the use of herbs and salt to rid it of evil. Salt has been used since ancient times to rid the world of pest spiritual and physical.

A person would determine which to do by religious beliefs, the person helping them making the decision, the religious background of symbol, or just doing it all out of desperation. It’s best to determined which would bring the most empowerment as well. Some people feel empowered by throwing something away, some would feel empowered by burning it (fire) and some would feel empowered by water. What ever brings the client that feeling of divine power is what will help them clear the negative energy so the spirit or force can’t attach itself to the person. Which is what cursed objects do.

Now the issue with the house…if it hasn’t had a disturbance in a while, I wouldn’t suggest doing anything. But if the activity has reactivated and is targeting the woman and her boyfriend. Well than that’s a whole other story. One I feel needs to be explored…

The Paranormal Experiencer

Rubbiz Fire is my own personal psychic. We have about 10 years of history starting when I began doing psychic readings for her and her family at a psychic fair in San Jose, Ca. Over the years we’ve talked and gotten to be friends and here are some things that I’ve found out about this extraordinary psychic. Things that will chill you to the bone…

1980 – I was about 6 years old, and was terrified to go to sleep one night. I kept telling my mom that there was a “White Cowboy” outside my bedroom window. After her threatening me to go to sleep or else! She went to her bedroom and I kept crying, “…but mom he is going to come in!” She came to my room one more time and said If I didn’t go to sleep I was going to get spanked. So I pulled the blanket over my head and cried harder repeating “he is gonna come in.” That night a man broke into the house. He was wearing white denim jeans, a White Cowboy shirt, wearing a cowboy hat carrying a knife and he chased my mom down the hall. It ended with him running away cause’ my dad got his shot gun.

1980 – 1988 I was visited regularly by a spirit male.

1981 - I had my first out of body experience. I saw my self laying on the floor of the shower surrounded by my blood, after a nasty accident left a large split in my head. I had a choose to leave or stay, live or die. I decided to stay. It only took 23 stitches , 7 staples to close my head.

1983- While driving down 101 in San Jose North bound lane with my mom and brother, my mom pointed to a motorcyclist driving down the freeway at speeds that appeared to be over 100pmh, with no shirt , no shoes and no helmet. MY mom says, “Oh. That’s going to be a nasty accident.” Six exits down the freeway had traffic build up and there were all kinds of police sirens, and people pulled over to the side as we were forced to drive by what appeared to be 80 feet of blood skid marks down the free way and at the end of the blood trail was a mangled black and red piece of man laying there lifeless.

1985 - While visiting a friend one night, I got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom I stopped  along the way to have a conversation with an old man rocking in a rocking chair. The next morning I told my friend about how I talked with her grandfather and asked her what happened to the rocking chair? She said they didn’t have a rocking chair and that her grandfather was dead. But I described him to a T!

1985 – While driving with my mother and brother down McLaughlin Rd. in San Jose, my mom slammed on the breaks do to a man nearly slamming into the side of her, had she not braked we would of been hit on the passenger side of my mom’s Pinto where I was sitting. We where lucky to only have been rear ended by the car behind us sadly a woman driving in the other direction didn’t have time to stop and was struck exactly in the drivers side sending her car in a spin out which made her spin 4 times slamming her into the side of a daycare building. The woman was hurt so bad she lost her ear in the accident. Talk about close call.

1989 – While playing with my younger brother a game in the back yard, my body froze and I spoke out to my brother EARTHQUAKE, and he laughed at me and then about 60 seconds later a 5.0 hit the Bay Area.

1991 – While at a friends house visiting I was sitting at the kitchen table when something grabbed both my shoulders, yanked them making me arch my back. It pulled my chair backwards standing on 2 legs only as my body froze yet again and whatever it was squeezed my shoulders. I yelled out to my friends move away from the table EARTHQUAKE, they got up screaming and ran away from the table as I watched the hutch that sat behind them fall over the table inches away from my face.

1993 - While living with my one of my aunts I was sitting at the kitchen table  watching a spirits walk up an down the hallway, as I watching them hurry past me as if they where trying to catch something. It was a woman dressed in 1800′s clothing

1993 – Watched a man walk angrily up and down a hallway and thru a living room then he went into the kitchen and he came around the corner with a gun. He walked down the hall  into the master bedroom and ACTUALLY shut the bedroom door and I heard a gun shot. No one was hurt because the man and gun where both apparitions. As long as I stayed in the house this situation repeated everyday at the same time. I later found out when I told my roommates what I was seeing that one of the original owners of the house committed suicide in the master bedroom using a gun.

1994 – While pregnant with my son,  was being driven home from a visit with my father. Driving down White road something whispered to me tell her to slow down and get behind the car in the left lane. So I told Jen to slow down and get behind the white car in the left lane just as she took her foot off the gas and slowly coasted to get behind the other car, the white car drifted over to the lane we where in and crashed into a parked car which sent the white car flipping over in front of us. We escaped unharmed. The firemen did do an examination on me though to make sure the baby was OK. According to eye witnesses we where very lucky. Thanks you very much to that SPIRIT & GOD I have a healthy 17 year old son!

1995 thru 2010 Spirit walking up & down the hallway with heavy steps. Going in to the kitchen and opening cabinets & shutting them over and over again…

1997 – After messing around with the Ouiga board, ( untrained and inexperienced) with a white candle to attract spirits and chanting with all 4 elements (Fire, water, Earth & AIR) we suffered that night from a visit with an ugly spirit, who went as far to torment all of us including a child and spent a night hovering or squatting over my friend and her son. The spirit struck me in the head while I was alone in the bathroom,

1998 - I had a dream I was going to get in a car accident while driving my husband to work, the car accident was going to be head on, and it was going to be such a hard hit that my son was going to be ejected from the car through the back window. I was going to be pinned behind the wheel and and die, and in the dream I was shown a calendar. March 13th was circled in red. On March 13th I refused to drive my husband to work out of fear. I didn’t want to get in an accident or want son or husband to get hurt. My husband thought I was nuts and decided to get a ride to work. He had his sister drive him to work while their cousin tagged along for the ride. I was informed from my mother in law, who was called by San Jose Medical Center that there was an accident. On the way to my husbands work they where hit head on. My sister in-law was pinned behind the wheel, and both her legs where broken one of them in 3 places. The other in 2 places. She also suffered from a shattered pelvic bone. The doctors weren’t sure she was going to make it.  My husband had whip lash, a fractured hip and glass pieces in his neck, face and head. His cousin was thrown from side to side in the back seat sending her head slamming into the back windows flinging her glasses out of the window. She suffered from a sprained back & neck, fractured arm stitches and glass in her head, face and neck. All 3 of them are fine today and for that I thank the lord.

2002 – I met Celebrity Psychic Belinda Bentley at San Jose Psychic Fair. After walking around the fair 3 times trying to decide which Psychic I wanted to try. Here was this woman with this GLOW about her. she had this inviting energy and I felt this Pull to her I kept ignoring the pull at 1st but by the 3rd time around the conference room I decided to sign up for a reading with her and the rest is history. She became my Psychic of choice and eventually we became friends 2003 – while asleep one night, I was awoken to a spirit looking down on me he was about 2 inches over my face studying me or looking at me, it was so scary and shocking I ended up awaking my husband do to the spirit being so in my face.

2004 - A December night, after having a long & busy week I decided I needed to unwind in a eucalyptus bath. While soaking in the tub at some point I had fallen asleep I some how had a out of body experience in which I was looking down on my self, “saying oh wow look at your self. Look how tired you are.”  Then I realized  your drowning wake up! I woke up just as my face had turned into the water.

2004 -2005 – There is a spirit who walks around my apartment building. Its waiting and watching.

2005 – A spirit dressed in what appeared to be a Pilgrim outfit walked past me in my living room, when I tried to walk down my hallway I couldn’t because there was wall where my hallway was moments ago. Even though I was in my apartment it appeared I was in someone else’s house!

2008 – 2010 Watched little boy spirit walk around my cousin’s apartment. He move real object.

Q: What were some of the experiences you had in the Amityville type house?

A: My abilities allowed me to learn the names and temperament of each spirit/entity in the house. Like a teacher in a classroom, I kept a daily log of the spirits in the house. I made two columns on my roll sheet; the bad spirits and the good spirits. The bad spirits were very destructive and harmful, while the good spirits were protective and nurturing. So in the house there seemed to be a constant struggle between good and evil. When I took roll and figured out who was in the house, I could determine what type of day it was going to be.

In the house, I lived with my brother, my mother and my step father. My brother was seldom ever home as he was always off with his girlfriends and my mother was often at work, which left me alone with my step father. On the occasions that the bad spirits were present, I would see dark shadows around my step father talking and whispering things to him. These negative entities would manipulate and convince him to try to hurt me. He would often tell me that he was not interested in hurting me, but “they” told him to do it. Although there were many occasions that he tried to hurt me, there are two that stand out in my mind the most. The first is when he had his toll box out and he was throwing wrenches at me. I was hiding under the table and as the wrenches were coming at me, they would stop in mid air almost as if they hit an invisible wall and fall about an inch away from me. That was one of the many occasions when the good spirits made sure that he did not hurt me.

One of the most horrifying experiences I had in that house was when I was about 8 years old. My mother had left for work and my step father (who had just about completely lost his mind by this time) decided that it was time to take me out. He came rushing down the hall yelling that “they” wanted me to die. Before he was able to reach my room, the door slammed shut and locked. He was banging and kicking the door so hard that I thought it was going to come off of its hinges. Then he went to my big bedroom window and tried to break it by hitting it with blunt objects and throwing chairs at it. Nothing worked. Everything bounced off the door and window. The door did not unlock or open until my mother arrived home in the early evening. Needless to say, we left the house shortly after that incident.

Sleeping with this stone under her pillow would effect the gentlest change as it works best while one is in a dream state.

For Pete, who is left with a bit of a broken heart and the fear of being alone, I would suggest a pendant made of Rhodonite. Rhodonite is a stone of love, and this pink and black stone helps to heal a wounded heart chakra. It provides stability on the physical and mental planes, and helps to ease anxiety, allowing one to focus on the details.  Rhodonite is a stone that stimulates personal growth and encourages self-love. Man of The Run…WOWSER just siting here trying to tune into Kelsey’s energy pattern took my breath away, and brought me great agitation. I actually had to get up from my desk and take a walk around the block because I could just NOT sit still!

It is quite clear that Kelsey Grammer feels he is running out of time and is in desperate need of a “do-over”. Kelsey wants to be happy and very much in love”… to feel young again, no matter what the cost.  And so he shall – for a little while anyway.

In order to hold onto his new found high as long as possible, I would suggest that Kelsey work with Red Jasper Stone. In fact, I would like to see him fill his pants pockets chock full of Red Jasper Stones and wear it on his person as well. This stone has a slow and steady pulse and is an excellent grounding stone. It is very compatible with male energy and helps one to slow down and recalibrate their internal frequency to a more sustainable pace. This stone is said to have a stabilizing effect on one’s energy and to help utilize that energy in a balanced manner. Red Jasper can also enhance responsibility, choice, and compassion, and aids in focusing and controlling one’s own passions. Speaking of REALITY… let’s tune into Camille. This Beverly Hills House Wife needs to get her Goddess back! As Camille explained in PEOPLE Magazine “ I feel completely abandoned. I feel dismissed. This all happened very quickly for me…I was scared at first, and there’s still fear. But I’m excited about my future. That sounds weird, I know. But Kelsey was a very difficult man to have a relationship with. I miss him, but I don’t want to look back anymore. Everything is new. I’m excited about rediscovering myself and becoming independent again.”

The Galena Stone is just the stone to help Camille reconnect to her “Goddess Within”, and forge ahead in search of new adventures. Fergie & Josh Duhamel

Two Peas in a Pod… What do these two celebrities have in common other than being married to each other? They both love women. How are they different? Fergie fesses-up to having fun with women outside their marriage; Josh Duhamel does not.  In an article published in the Huffington Post on February 19, 2001, it reads:

“Fergie is on tabloid covers as her marriage is rocked by allegations of infidelity by husband Josh Duhamel, but in a new interview, just released, but done before the scandal, Fergie talks about her own impulse to cheat with other women… I’ve been very honest with him from the get-go. I think women are beautiful, I’ve had a lot of fun with women, and I’m not ashamed of it. The problem is that I also love a well-endowed man. But just because I enjoy women doesn’t mean I’m allowed to have affairs in my relationship. I learned through talking with my therapist that it is still cheating even if it’s with girls, so there is a rule there.”

The key word here is “allegations”.  In my world that means Josh Duhamel is still denying it – but I have to commend Fergie on giving it to us straight. You know what they say – the Truth will set you free!

I would like to award Fergie with the biggest most beautiful piece of Lapis Lazuli that Mother Nature has ever unearthed. I would love to see her display a few nice natural stones in a Sacred Place as well as wear a gorgeous neckpiece fit for a Queen or perhaps I should say Priestess.  Lapis Lazuli has its roots in the Ancient Egyptian Culture and is known as the stone to truth…. Wisdom through Truth to be exact. It is a gorgeous, blue stone with golden flecks of pyrite, and was once used in the headpiece of the Egyptian Goddess Isis. Isis was a High Priestess and had an enhanced gift of intuition and knowing. She was a master at merging conscious awareness with inner wisdom. Lapis Lazuli can be called upon to help us reconnect to our own inner voice and true wisdom.  Lapis Lazuli encourages us to trust our inner voice and to have the courage to bring it forth with confidence in our world.

Josh on the other hand, could use a little help from a friend called Blood Stone. Blood Stone is a dark green stone that is spattered with red spots. Legend has it that the blood of Jesus gave the stone its color when it fell on some Jasper at the foot of the cross. This stone can promote courage, and can protect us from our own worst enemies – especially when that happens to be ourselves. It is also excellent at balancing and connecting the root, sacral and heart chakras and allowing us to recognize destructive patterns and bringing positive change – no matter how painful that may be. Bloodstone gives us the stamina and courage needed to overcome obstacles and teaches us that turmoil often leads us to break down negative behavior and clear the path to allow us to rebuild in healthier ways. By doing so, relationships with self and those around you can become revitalized, often gifting one a renewed outlook on life. In order to benefit the most from this stone, I would suggest that Josh finds himself two large pieces of tumbled Bloodstone, one that would fit in each hand, find a quiet place, and meditate accordingly.

So what do the fates have in store for these two? Should they speak their truth and face their obstacles, they have a nice chance of enjoying a good part of their lives together. Like most of us, they both have imperfections and if they acknowledge them and utilize that as a catalyst for positive change, then we can all look forward to seeing more of their beautiful pictures in future tabloids to come.
