Hey there! Thanks for dropping by Strange Unusual Psychic Paranormal and the Unexplained! Take a look around and grab the RSS feed to stay updated. See you around!
Today, April 3, 2012 Growing Up Psychic will be released. When I received the book last week, I was excited to read it, but I didn’t have high hopes for anything amazing or extraordinary to pop out of the page. I’ve read many psychic books over the years. They are all different and informative and some even life changing, but after years, and years of pouring over this information you find things a bit repetitive, redundant.
I will tell you now…go pick up your own personal copy of this book!! The material written is excellent for the seasoned psychic, paranormal enthusiast, avid paranormal reader or someone new to it all. I began reading this book and couldn’t put it down. If it was repetitive of any other information out there I didn’t notice, because it was put in a new fresh way. It was almost like a suspense story – what will happen next? It’s gripping when Chip Coffey relayed his own extraordinary paranormal experiences. I stayed up until 5am reading, falling asleep with the book still in my hand. I honestly was having a difficult time putting it down.
Growing Up Psychic pretty much touched on everything – I don’t think Coffey, held back much. He took the initiative to cover what fans loved about Psychic Kids. The abilities, triumphs, successes, and the experiences beyond what you’ve seen on TV. Then he took to covering the psychological aspect as well as the psychic one too. It was extremely entertaining, but profoundly helpful and informative in a way no other psychic book has been.
As entertaining as it was I also feel that a lot of parents of psychic kids, or adults who were psychic kids will get comfort knowing that they aren’t alone. This book, in my own personal opinion, can save many children and parents from some physiological damage. The damaged caused by not understanding the supernatural. This is a book I’d recommend families read together.
A neighbor of mine, many years ago, recounted a time her husband had her put in a mental institution because she saw her dead mother and heard voices. She proved she was psychic, but it scared her due to the trauma of being put away for having a sixth sense. This book would have indeed comforted her and maybe even her family. How many families may now benefit from this information?
I’ll definitely be recommending this book to others and it really couldn’t come at a better time. This book is a voice for anyone who grew up psychic and those who want to understand them.
Psychic Medium Thomas John has been making accurate predictions for years. At the beginning of the year he made 99 predictions on his website www.mediumthomas.com, as well as his Blog Talk Radio podcast. Many are celebrity and Hollywood related. Below we’ll get the 2012 scoop on Tinsletown starlets such as 2011 Oscar winner Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston and leading men like Brad Pit and Tom Cruise. Thomas gives us headlines before they happens! We’ll also cover some predictions he covered that have come to pass. What do you think 2012 will bring?
“In 2012 I see a new boyfriend for new mother Sandra Bullock. It’s time to get her love life in order. This time I feel it will work out for her, and someone she will be with for the rest of her life. The relationship is simple and stable, and I feel that they end up doing a lot of work together. I feel it will be someone with the first initial of R.”
“I get a strong sense Jennifer Aniston will announce she is pregnant! Keep your eyes out for her great news mid to late year. Her ex Brad Pit seems to going through his own changes this year. I see the relationship between him and Angelina Jolie will end, but he will quickly move on to a new relationship, though he will continue to be a devoted father of his six children. However, I don’t think those two will be over for good—I see them reconnecting quickly after the break-up, and possibly reconciling.”
“In January on my website I predicted health issues with Whitney Houston and I also predicted a queen of soul would die. Unfortunately, both Etta James, a great soul legend, and Whitney Houston, both passed this year. I also see the passing of another star associated with country music. I probably didn’t have to be psychic to know Adele would sweep almost all of the music award shows this year. She’s a very talented and amazing artist and she made it happen just as I saw it.”
“More predictions, talk show host Ellen will announce she plans to adopt a child`. Tom Cruise maybe ending it with his current wife Katie Holmes and he might be planning to show off his vocal talents on a Broadway show. There is change all around him this year. Gaga goes gaga for a new beau, unknown male not in the limelight currently, has dark hair and handsome features. Jessica Simpson I believe will be starting a new line of clothing could be maternity wear. This will not be a profitable venture. American Idol will be voted off the air—I’m seeing news that the show is coming to an end. Katie Couric’s new TV show receives low marks. Kim Kardashian will enter a new relationship with a man she eventually will marry. William and Kate publicly announce a baby, possibly twins, and major health concerns emerge in the news about Muhammad Ali, Liza Minelli, Lady Gaga, and Donald Trump.”
OMG! Hey all readers, fans, and people who freakin’ LOVE Ghost Adventures, there is a new show coming out SOON so pay attention and read this.
Zak Bagans, star of the hugely popular series “Ghost Adventures,” premieres a new show JUNE 17 at 9pm ET/PT called “PARANORMAL CHALLENGE.”
Zak has become one of Travel Channel’s tent-pole personalities and besides a major fan following, his shows have given rise not only to new believers, but also a community of people who make their living from paranormal investigations. He’s got some truly frightening ghost adventures under his belt – scary stories that put my campfire tales to shame!
“Paranormal Challenge” takes viewers around the country to some of the most haunted sites in the country, but this time, lead investigator Zak takes a mentor role to guide amateur paranormal investigators (some of his biggest fans) through a night of intense testing – two teams face off in a series of challenges to see who can bring back the best and most haunting evidence.
The show uses some awesome new hi-tech gear, and a panel of three nationally recognized paranormal experts decide the winner of the paranormal challenge – no prizes, no titles, just bragging rights and a new-found respect in the paranormal community.
Zak Bagans, Host and Lead Investigator
Being a former skeptic, Zak Bagans says that his passion for investigating the paranormal resulted from a face-to-face encounter with the spirit of a suicidal woman who haunted his old apartment building in Trenton, Michigan. This life-changing experience caused him to actively pursue capturing evidence of the afterlife. After graduating from the Motion Picture Institute in Michigan, Bagans moved to Las Vegas to pursue a career in documentary filmmaking. There, Bagans met GHOST ADVENTURES co-host Nick Groff and cameraman Aaron Goodwin. Bagans’ top three scariest experiences include being scratched by a demonic entity at Bobby Mackey’s Music World, being partially possessed by a spirit at the Preston School of Industry, and being overwhelmed by a dark energy at Poveglia Island.
Bagans’ passion for the paranormal has launched into creating and hosting a new series – PARANORMAL CHALLENGE, premiering June 17, 2011. Bagans is also the executive producer for the series. In each episode, Bagans puts two teams of amateur ghost hunters against each other during an overnight lockdown. After a night of collecting evidence, the teams present their findings to Bagans and a panel of three additional paranormal experts.
Many psychics are coming to me with predictions for 2011. They seem a bit scary and doomsdayish. I wonder is something bad going to happen? People make predictions all the time. Some come true and others don’t. When is it a proper time to share predictions? How do you know the predictions will come true? More importantly who do you warn, when do you warn people and what happens if they take your warning only to find out it wasn’t a true prediction. Like the end of the world thing that was supposed to happen May 21, today! These are questions most psychics have.
I decided to write a blog on up coming predictions to let people decide on their own. What would it hurt to take a vacation around the time a predicted disaster happen? I have friends that are stocking up on water and gas just as a precaution to a disaster. It’s smart just as having a savings account…with money in it.
Today I am asking Shannon Leischner (Darkness Radio 100.8 FM, Let Us Connect) a psychic to give us some predictions about 2011 – 2012. www.shannonleischner.com
Shannon what predictions have you made in the past that have come true?
Shannon:In January 2011, I predicted the death of a rapper from the 90s era. Then Nate Dogg died on March 16, 2011.
Belinda:I remember you actually telling me this when I was on vacation with you. You felt it very stronge and didn’t flinch when you said it. You know without a doubt!
Shannon: The day before Elizabeth Taylor died, I was talking to my partner saying that she was going to pass soon..and then she died the next day.
Then I predicted that a younger rapper will be killed, then a few days ago then Johnson M-Bone of Cali Swag District was killed.
My prediction that a big music star will die in a plane accident has yet to come.
Belinda: Wow you’re predicting a lot of death. I usually stay away from the subject myself, but it’s interesting you are seeing so much of it and willing to share it with us.
How do you come up with your predictions? Is it a vision, a feeling, a spirit giving you information?
Shannon: My predictions come from feelings and spiritual information that is fed to me.
What are your top 10 predictions for the next year and a half?
1. Financial / Economic A series of major catastrophic events in the US including flooding, tornadoes, cyclones, hurricanes, and earthquakes will topple the economy of the US. The economy will crash and it will be very difficult for the US to recover.
Belinda: Crazy…did you see the predictions on my last blog? Seems similar.
2. Disasters
There will be increased seismic activity not only in California, but in the midwest and the southern states.
There will also be more record breaking catastrophic events such as flooding, tornadoes, cyclones, and hurricanes. The Earth’s energy is completely out of alignment and this is the way for the Earth to realign itself.
3. Stock Market
The stock market will remain the same for about 6 months, but then there will be a continuous downward fall for the remainder of the year and into next year.
4. Election – who will run who will win?
I believe will Obama will be re-elected.
Shannon thanks for being a part of my Strange, Unusual, Psychic, Paranormal and the Unexplained Blog.
I’ve written this blog, because of how my facebook friends responded to this question: If someone predicts a disaster that could effect you, (They’ve been right before) do you listen or shrug it off…if it happens it happens sorta thing? Everyone of them said they would listen! They’d want to know so that they can have an opportunity to prepare. A few predictions are below with back story below. I have not made any of these predictions myself. I don’t feel anything with LA psychically. This is just an article to share predictions and information. Do with it what you will.
It’s on billboards, in the news and all over the Internet. Tomorrow the world ends at 6pm starting in New Zealand according to Harold Camping who has predicted the end before and of course was wrong. Tonight people are awaiting a fate that will end the world. If the world doesn’t end today in New Zealand and tomorrow at 6pm for the USA – could it still be the end for Los Angeles?
A few months ago I was doing a reading for a client. She was telling me her daughter had a visitation in a dream and warned of an earthquake in LA. It was so strong this child had her mother call all of her friends and warn them. The next day an earthquake hit. The girl then predicted another earthquake because the visitor came back and said the last time was a warning - he wanted people to listen when it came time for the big one which will hit on June 6, 2011 in Los Angeles. Children tend to be highly accurate, because they have nothing to prove and nothing to believe or disbelieve. I am paying attention. Enough not to be in LA on the 6th. I am on a mini Vacation. Palm Springs could be a nice spot to chill out for a day or two.
Last week I get a call from Hale Mednik Author of “The Twelve Tribes” www.12-tribes.com and Astrologer. He said he has something to tell me concerning him and I both. I talked with him immediately, “what is it?” I ask. It’s a prediction, he received out of the blue.
In Hale’s words: Many years ago, I had a plan to go Thailand and Indonesia on vacation. A friend who happens to be a psychic told me she saw me dying there and that I shouldn’t go. I was very skeptical, but then I ended up postponing my trip three weeks on account of a job, and she suddenly said it was OK to go. And on the day I had originally planned to be scuba diving in Phuket, the huge tsunami of 2004 hit and Phuket was one of the major spots that got hit hard. (Note: This psychic did save his life. I knew Hale at the time and can vouch for this story, the psychic was my best friend. So this next prediction I took seriously. – Belinda Bentley)
This same psychic called me up the other day and told me to stay away from Los Angeles in June 2011. That a major earthquake is going to hit there. She said she heard the same thing from a couple of other psychics too, and I have heard it confirmed also by another psychic friend. I don’t want to start up a panic, but I’ve been urged to share this information.
I wouldn’t panic, that’s not the point of this blog. I write this for many reasons:
If it happens and the same psychics predict another disaster it could save lives.
Scientific proof psychics see the future if it happens.
Warning to help people get earthquake prepared whether it happens in June or not, LA will have another earthquake at some point. It pays to be prepared.
To build awareness on earthquake preparedness. There are websites dedicated to earthquake preparedness tips, checklist and advice.
If you do listen it could be a great reason to take a mini vacation!
My facebook friends at www.facebook.com/tvpsychicbelindabentley have explained on my public page how to prepare for hurricanes and earthquakes. Keep copies of important papers in two different locations is a good one I’ve not heard of before.
Celebrities such as Lily Allen, Madonna, Michael Ball and alternative health leader Deepak Chopra are advocates of the Emotional Freedom Technique. Holistic medical alternatives have been gaining popularity in the Western world for their natural and whole-body approach to healing. One type of holistic healing is Energy Psychology, a practice that relieves mental health problems by eliminating emotional traumas or blockages from the mind-body continuum by touching or tapping key points on the body. The most widely-used form of Energy Psychology is the Emotional Freedom Technique, a simple, effective, yet widely unknown way of removing emotional blockages. Chicago Healers Practitioner Dr. Funda Kahn, D.D.S., CH, explains what you need to know about the Emotional Freedom Technique.
CORE BELIEF—The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is centered upon the belief that while tapping on certain meridian points on the body while focusing on a stressful event the body’s energy flow is balanced and the negative emotions associated with the event are diminished.
TAPPING POINTS—Meridian points are many of the same ones used in traditional acupuncture therapies. These points include the eyebrow, the side of the eye, underneath the eye, the crease between the nose and upper lip, the area between the lower lip and chin, the collar bone, the sternum and the underarm.
USES—Practitioners of EFT use it to alleviate both physical and emotional pains including stress, depression, dyslexia, allergies, relationship troubles, MS, addictions and more.
PRACTICES—EFT is practiced by holistic healthcare workers, many of whom are also certified in hypnosis. EFT practitioners can be found at therapy clinics and private practices in almost any city; make sure to choose a practitioner that has been certified in the technique.

Paltalk’s Diana Falzone Chats with Batman Producer, Archie Comics writer – the Legendary Michael Uslan Uslan talks Rejections, Christian Bale and His Personal Connection to the One and Only Dark Knight of Gotham
I LOVE BATMAN since Michael Keaton. I wish he were still superman to be honest, but for the love of Batman I am sharing this interview with you. Now where is Michael Keaton is he doing TV?
Michael Uslan, the man behind the Batman movies, Archie Comics and more, sat down with Paltalk’s own Diana Falzone to discuss his career, his thoughts on the infamous Dark Knight superhero and give those trying to break into the business some advice to following their dream. In the interview he discussed his new book “The Boy Who Loved Batman” – a semi-autobiographical piece about his journey and insight on his vision for the superhero that he has worked hard to develop from the comic book pages to the big screen.
Below are some highlights viewers can see in the video:
· Which actor is his favorite Batman/Bruce Wayne for all generations
o “Each Bruce Wayne by each actor has been something completely different. Michael Keaton, Bruce Wayne – obsessed, driven to the point of being psychotic… Tim Burton, genius that he was/is said, ‘Audiences have to believe in this guy, they have to believe in Bruce Wayne – he’s a guy who is capable of putting on a bat suit and going out and fighting crime without getting the giggles.’ With Val Kilmer he was more of a dark mysterious, darkly romantic version of Bruce Wayne. George Clooney was the warm and fuzzy guy next door…and then Christian Bale I think has just nailed it. Nailed it for every generation – it really doesn’t matter what generation of Batman Comics you were raised on or if you saw those cartoons or these cartoons, or if you saw those movies or these movies; for me, for everybody he is the believable Bruce Wayne on a very personal human journey.” (12:00)
· Why Batman was always his favorite superhero and how that shapes how he portrays the character today?
o “At age 8, Batman was my favorite superhero. More than Spiderman or the Hulk. And it was really for two reasons – one, because he had the greatest super villains. So far better than everybody else. Number two, is because he was human. He had no super powers. Batman’s greatest superpower is his humanity. And at age 8, I believed in my heart of hearts that if I studied real hard, and worked out real hard, and if my dad bought me a cool car, I could be this guy. “ (3:41)
· On whether he sees himself as Batman or Bruce Wayne?
o “I think I’m Bruce Wayne. I’m certainly not Batman. ” (2:50)
· Why he is and probably always will be, “The Boy Who Loved Batman” from his book?
o “So this book, is really the story of the over 10 years it took me, from the time I acquire the rights to Batman until our first movie came out. Because [my partner] and I were turned down by every studio in Hollywood. I was told I was crazy. I was told it was the worst idea they had ever heard. It’s a test. How much do you believe in yourself? How much do you believe in your work and what you are doing? When everyone is telling you, you are bad.” (2:04)
· Advice he has to those trying to follow the same dream
o “It’s a harsh world out there, you are right and the key is really ‘intestinal fortitude,’ it’s about knocking on doors that will, guaranteed, slam in your face. Over and over again. And if you are passionate about something, are you willing to go through Hell, literally, really march through Hell to get to the other side and keep picking yourself up, keep dusting yourself off, knocking on those doors and getting them slammed again and again. Talk about timing in life, and luck in life. The magic is that there is no magic – because the timing and luck is really the only timing and luck you make by knocking on those doors obsessively.” (1:00)
Watch the video for more including:
· How he eventually was able to secure the rights for the Batman character and how it almost never happened? (4:32)
· Which studio rejected him the worst and how a little girl named “Annie” almost blew his chances (6:38)
Seriously for all my shoe fanatic friends Kate Hudson showed off her Alexandre Birman flats on Mother’s Day in London, England.
The ever-coveted Alexandre Birman ballerina flats are available in a variety of colors at Saks Fifth Avenue, Net-a-Porter, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus for $495. Who else has been wearing these? Anne Hathaway, Courtney Cox, Blake Lively, Demi Moore, Diane Kruger, Olivia Palermo, Anna Paquin, Ashley Greene and Karolina Kurkova (to name a few!). I really want to find out what Ru Paul has been wear lately…

Diddy Celebrates Homecoming in Style at State-of-the-Art Nightclub in New Jersey
On Friday night, P. Diddy “Came Home” to New York City with the Diddy- Dirty Money Coming Home tour to support his newest album, Last Train to Paris. To cap off the night, he celebrated his successful show in style right in the heart of New Jersey.
Club 4Sixty6 ( www.4sixty6.com ) in West Orange New Jersey played host to Diddy’s official concert after-party. Celebrity faces including Anthony Lombardi of Jerseylicious started trickling in, followed by Diddy himself, who celebrated a successful NYC show with a custom-made cake from Palermo’s Bakery in Ridgefield Park, NJ (www.PalermoBakery.com ). The three-tiered cake featured both Paris and NYC skylines.
Diddy arrived with an entourage, including DJ Prostyle, that took up five SUV’s. He headed straight into the DJ booth after his arrival, rocking the mike and performing songs from his hit album.
I had an opportunity to talk with writer Elizabeth Stinson. When you read her interview below, you’ll see some Steven King similarities. Dreams being a muse for story telling; real life accounts. This is an interview you won’t want to miss…
Sometimes I watched to see if someone was coming out the bedroom door. I hated to be in that room if just to get my clothes from the dresser or go through to the kitchenette.
How long have you been writing? Since about fifth grade with a couple of two-page mysteries inspired by TV crime shows, girl detective novels, and kid comics. Unless mice got to them, I still have “The Cold Corpse” and “The Mystery of the Torn Will” in smeared pencil on notebook paper with crayon drawings of a blood-dripping knife and a, wait for it, torn will. Great set-ups and flashy endings, but the second acts are weak. Then I read a lot of science-fiction and super-hero comics that helped build my “universe.”
What genre do you write most often? When I got into science fiction, I created the usual powerful loner heroine who eventually morphed into a witch with a sci-fi twist. Most of my screenplays are in a lengthy planned series about her life, loves, family, friends, and adventures in numerous supernatural sub-genres. She’s closer to a comic book heroine than a Wiccan, though she respects the traditions. She keeps saying she’s not psychic, but she gets dreams sometimes. Throughout the series, she has two main motivations, finding her true love in a past time and understanding the mystery of her existence.
I also have a PG super-heroine screenplay about a schlubby young woman who suddenly gets a power she’s wanted all her life – for reasons that are revealed – and soon realizes public knowledge of it would threaten her life and liberty. So what can she do with it?
Sounds like a perfect TV show Elizabeth!
The “princess stories” are about several women in the same small area of eastern Europe during a span of thousands of years and different genres – sword and sorcery, gothic romance, contemporary Cinderella, and science fiction.
A romantic ghost story about a ballerina in Charleston, SC, is in memory of my mother.
And I’m trying to write a thriller with no supernatural element but sort of Twilight Zone-y.
What have you written about so far in your screenplays? The superheroine story. The rest are in the witch’s series. The origin novel when she becomes involved with the occult through a family of teen witchlings. A “sidequel” about a young woman haunted by the death of her sister. A backwoods horror/action. A murder mystery/time travel/ghost story when she goes to her parents’ hometown. A Lovecraftian short story, very dark, but it has to be to make her change course.
What makes you use personal experiences? Waste not, want not! There’s an old song called “Master Jack” with the lines, “You took a colored ribbon from out of the sky / And taught me how to use it as the years went by / To tie up all your problems and make them look neat / And then to sell them to the people in the street.” I think that’s a good look at how writers work, using personal experiences and feelings, bringing them out in the open, taking control of them, dressing them up. It’s cheaper than therapy.
Why do you add scary aspects to your screenplays? What draws you to the dark side?
It’s not so much adding scary aspects, they’re entwined with whatever the story is. For example, the contemporary Cinderella story has murders, war, a ghost, secrets, and scandal, all realistic to the situation. The poor girl goes through a lot to get to her shot at a happy ending.
It’s just the way my mind works. I love my weird dreams. Some of my favorites are when I visit haunted places. Usually, the first time I visit a particular house, I’m really scared but I look around anyway. Then in later dreams, I try to go back and visit the same house again and again, until it’s not so scary anymore. I don’t know what this means, unless I’m working through a fear. And I like big old houses with character.
Have you always been fascinated with scary, strange happenings? Looks like it! They make good reading and viewing, but my real life is nothing like that. The following two anecdotes are probably as close as I’ve come to weirdness, but what do they really mean?
In a previous millennium, I lived at the YWCA in Raleigh, NC, and worked at NCSU. I wanted a place of my own but one not very expensive. I answered an ad in the newspaper and visited an old house near the campus with two apartments on the first floor and two on the second. The rent for the vacant one upstairs was $80 per month. There were two rooms plus kitchenette and bathroom. The landlady was there with painters working in the small bedroom, putting beige paint over old browned, patterned wallpaper. For some reason, I didn’t like that bedroom AT ALL! After I moved in, I put my bed in a corner in the living room as far away from the bedroom as possible. Sometimes I watched to see if someone was coming out the bedroom door. I hated to be in that room if just to get my clothes from the dresser or go through to the kitchenette. The painters left their paint cans on the porch roof outside the bedroom window, and after some months, I crawled out to get them and put them with the trash out back. I wondered why they left them. When I cleaned up the kitchenette, I found something on a top shelf, a long, white jeweler’s gift box with two pieces of sterling flatware in the same pattern — a wedding gift, probably. I still have them if the rightful owners can identify them. I never did ask the landlady if the bedroom was haunted or research if something had happened there, and I hesitate to approach the current owner.
So I added these facts to one of my stories about the above-mentioned witch heroine. After she gets married and moves into that apartment, she learns that the previous couple was slaughtered in their bedroom. The landlady had the bloody wallpaper painted over, but the painters were scared away.
I moved out of that apartment after 16 months and traveled to London. I lived in a fourth-floor walk-up flat with four other girls, two English and two Irish, and slept on a cot in a small room with one of the English girls. Instead of regular sheets, I used a sleeping bag liner made out of thin cottony material and put a blanket over it. One night I dreamed I came back from somewhere via the one window in the room. I was with a person I called a “light being,” male, tall and maybe blond. i was supposed to get back in bed, but I lay down on top of the liner instead of getting inside. He pointed this out, and I said I’d be warm enough. Well, next morning, I woke up on top of the liner — and I was terrified of knives! Was that a UFO abduction or a dream? Had I gone to sleep on top of the liner?
What if you find out you were really abducted? How would your life change? That would be both cool – I might have an alien hybrid child! — and a cause for concern, having proof aliens are interested in Earth. I don’t really know, but I doubt it.
Do you have any plans in the future to write for the paranormal/horror genre? Of course! The witch series uses this in every story to various degrees, and the princess gothic romance is very dark. There’s also a popular children’s story I’d like to reboot.
